DANIEL LEON

A master drummer and guitarist, this long haired hippie is also a sultry soulful singer/songwriter, originally from West Texas, who now calls San Antonio his home. Daniel Hogan aka Daniel Leon’ is someone who hates to be held down by labels or genre’s that others have tried to place on him.

His style? It’s diverse. Ranging from old school rhythm and blues, to Neo-Soul, to more modern Trap infused alternative R&B to even straight up POP MUSIC…the man who is affectionately referred to as “The Dude”, doesn’t want to be limited in any way when it comes to creating.

“Marijuana soul pop” is how his managers Eddie Brickerson and Question describe it while laughing.

But both men backtrack and again are reluctant to call it anything at this point. “We just want him to find his sound organically. The more he writes, records, produces, and performs- he seems to open up even more and is slowly crafting his own narrative and sound, which is what really any artist should do” Says Question.

For now, Leon’ is focused on one thing: making music that re-defines what soul music is, all while still respecting what it once was.
